Good luck with the move Wayne - I hope that it's not too painful!! In any case, although I'm a great fan of Wordpress as you know, at the end of the day it won't make a great blog on its own, just help it. Luckily the great content you have at www.blahblahtech.com makes yours one that, I believe, will really benefit from the extras Wordpress can offer.

After what seems like an age has passed since I first began planning, I'm now in the process of moving from Google Blogger to WordPress.

I've installed WordPress onto my server and should be going live within a couple of weeks.

I'll then be putting WordPress 2.3 through its paces.

I'm very excited about moving over, as it's a huge step for me and moves me into "proper" blogging territory...

[...] New versions of stuff always make me excited and sweaty at the same time. Sounds weird I know but too often I’ve jumped on the upgrade bandwagon only to be kicking myself for the unbridles enthusiasm displayed when the upgrade was announced.So….is the newest Wordpress worth my excitement and perspiration? It is summed up very well in this blog article here….Wordpress 2.3, Tagging and SEO @ Better Business Blogging Should you be looking at upgrading?
I have really enjoyed the last release of WordPress and this one has even more useful features. Some of it is "clean up" of the code and some of it is more useful to us bloggers.

I'm looking forward to this release -- especially the update plugins and the tagging as the former takes time and the latter I'm not currently doing.

Thanks for the overview.
