I've just come back from a meeting with a client where I've sold them on the idea of moving their whole website over to Word Press.

However, I don't think that they will be 'blogging directly, but instead making use of the tools available to them, and to get a feel for what's the best options for them.

Some companies see the idea of 'blogging as something scary, since they're entering into a publically-accessible dialogue with their clients, customers and prospects.

While this might reflect more on their insecurities rather than anything else, there are still businesses who can't quite see the benefits just yet.

I ought to point them here to this 'blog...

I'm absolutely no expert, but I've tried a half-way house. I have a website (the bog standard presentation skills training brochure type site) and I have a blog which is seen by Google etc as part of the same site 'cos it's on the same domain etc.

What I've done - which isn't clever but seems clever to me! :) - is intall a little bit of PHP on my website homepage so that it *also* posts the first para of my blog, thus changing my website every time I change my blog.

Not rocket science for the experts but I thought it was cute! :)
