[...] Throw away blogs are also useful to overcome the fear of corporate blogging. Understandably, not every organization has an Internet savvy personnel who knows all about WordPress and Blogger and MovableType, especially in today’s world where leaner organizations are the trend and the boss and his wife are the only people in company… but don’t let that deter you from starting, you don’t have to start with a corporate blog, right? You can target to set up your corporate blog two months down the road but start a personal or throw away blog immediately, just to learn about blogging! [...]

Thank you for this excellent post. I loved your part about "just do it". I think all too often we get caught up in trying to understand things too fully before we try them out. I think the idea that anyone can do it and should do it is very important.

Cheers,

I could not agree more,"Just do it" as stated in a previous post we are new to blogging and are finding it a very powerfull way of comunicating with customers. It is a bit like going to a networking event and meeting someone face to face, but online. You get warts and all feed back which is what business needs, also all it costs is your time. Not a frightning financial budget. Keep up the good work.

Good post - I liked the event specific blogging. In regards to #4, what I do is create a draft blog post when something comes to mind that I think of so I can blog about it later. In this way I have a number of post ideas in teh pipeline.
